NexusBOS 2.0: native desktop apps for Windows, macOS and Linux
The full NexusBOS experience now ships as an installable desktop app with offline POS, silent auto-updates and device-bound licensing.
Today we are shipping the NexusBOS desktop app for Windows (EXE), macOS (DMG) and Linux (AppImage). It wraps the complete platform — POS, inventory, accounting, HR and reports — in a fast native shell built for the counter.
The app updates itself: on every startup it checks our release feed, downloads the new version in the background, verifies its checksum and installs silently on the next restart. A failed update rolls back automatically, so a bad network can never leave a terminal broken.
Licensing is device-bound. Activate with your license key, manage devices from the customer portal, and use offline activation for machines that never touch the internet. Trials take two devices; paid plans take five or more.
